Pom d'Api 's lined boots and shoes keep your child's feet warm all winter long, in sizes 18 to 38, without sacrificing the flexibility they need to walk. Each style features an upper made of leather, suede, nappa, or laminato, paired with a warm lining—either fabric or synthetic, depending on the style.

Since 1973, our design department has been creating shoes tailored to each stage of walking. Our line of lined shoes is therefore divided into two categories.

For the first steps, from the 18th to the 25th

Fur-lined baby shoes with flexible soles or a barefoot-style design, made for little feet just learning to balance.

For children, sizes 21 to 38

Fur-lined boots and ankle boots with lug soles, easy to slip on thanks to a zipper or Velcro, perfect for school and outings alike.

Your Questions

Which lined shoes should you choose for winter?

It all depends on the stage of walking. A child taking his or her first steps needs a flexible sole that allows the foot to move naturally. A child who walks confidently will be better protected by ankle boots or boots with a lugged, non-slip sole.

Should you go up a size when buying a lined shoe?

No: Our lined styles are designed with the thickness of the lining in mind. Choose your child's usual shoe size, allowing about one centimeter of room at the toes.

Are lined shoes waterproof?

No, leather is not naturally waterproof. We recommend waterproofing it before the first rains: this makes it water-repellent and more resistant to stains.
