Boots, ankle boots, or fur-lined boots: What's the difference?

An ankle boot ends at the ankle. A boot extends a little higher and has a sturdier look, often inspired by work boots or hiking boots. In everyday language, the term “lined boots” is also used to refer to all these lined, high-top shoes.

What kind of closure should you choose so a child can put on their shoes by themselves?

The Velcro closure is ideal for young children, as soon as they want to put on their shoes without help. The inner zipper, combined with an elastic band or pre-tied laces, then allows them to slip the shoe on without undoing the laces.

How do you care for leather-lined boots?

Brush them after every time you wear them when they're damp, and let them dry at room temperature, away from a radiator, which would harden the leather and cause the lining to shrink.
