Barefoot - YAKA WALK

The YAKA model has been designed to naturally accompany your child's first steps. Designed with barefoot friendliness in mind, it respects the physiology of the foot while offering comfort adapted to everyday life.

• Minimal drop of 1 mm: the foot remains virtually flat, promoting natural balance.
• Thin sole (3.2 mm base, 6 mm with reinforcements): thin enough to feel the ground, robust enough for everyday protection.
• Multi-directional flexibility: the shoe bends and twists easily, following every movement of the foot.
• No rigid heel counter: the heel is free, for a natural, unrestrained fit.
• Wide toe box: the front of the foot is designed to let the toes spread naturally.
• Insole with memory foam: light cushioning for greater comfort, without compromising flexibility.

The result is a lightweight, flexible shoe that respects foot development, ideal for parents looking for a compromise between barefoot freedom and everyday comfort.

All-new! This barefoot-style first-step model has been developed by our design department to meet the needs of babies who are just starting to walk. Thanks to this model, children have the sensation of walking almost barefoot, while being protected from the ground.

Barefoot technology respects the natural development of the child's foot, thanks to several features: It has a wider footbed than conventional footwear, to let the foot spread out naturally and develop freely.

The rubber outsole is thin, supple and very flat, giving children a better feel for the ground and their footing. This model is ultra-soft in both width and length. The front is protected by a hood, the shoe is padded and the insole is made of memory foam.
