This barefoot-style first steps model was developed by our design office to meet the needs of babies who are starting to walk.
The YAKA model has been designed to naturally accompany your child's first steps. Designed with barefoot friendliness in mind, it respects the physiology of the foot while offering comfort suited to everyday life.
-Minimal 1 mm drop: the foot remains almost flat, promoting natural balance.
-Thin sole (3.2 mm base, 6 mm with reinforcements): thin enough to feel the ground, sturdy enough for everyday protection.
-Multidirectional flexibility: the shoe bends and twists easily, following every movement of the foot.
-No rigid heel counter: the heel is free, for natural, unrestricted support.
-Wide sole/anatomical toe box: the front of the shoe is designed to allow the toes to spread naturally.
-Shape-memory insole: a light cushion for added comfort without compromising flexibility.
The result: a lightweight, flexible shoe that respects the development of the foot, ideal for parents looking for a compromise between barefoot freedom and everyday comfort.
